The All Star GameAll star 2017 3
The Juniors All Stars were divided into teams from the North and from the South. The North was represented by players from Misgav, Tel Aviv, Lev Hasharon and Ra’anana. The South’s players came from Bet Shemesh, Modiin and Jerusalem.

It was a tight game for five innings. The South’s starting pitcher, Yosef Green, pitched a gem from early on, but the North was able to take an early 1-0 lead. The South took a 3-1 lead in the top of the fourth, but the North fought right back with two more runs in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game at 3-3. At the top of the 6th, the momentum began to swing the way of the South, as their bats came alive and they took a 6-3 lead. Coming back into the game, Green shut the North down in the bottom of the 6th. The top of the 7th with two outs and two strikes, the South put the game away with two consecutive steals home. That looked to be the back breaker for the North, which then gave up 7 unanswered runs for a final score of 13-3, and a decisive victory for the South.
