Spring Training for the Premier League begins on Tuesday February 9. Training sessions will take place Tuesdays and Thursdays at 19:00-21:00, at the Baptist Village.

For the 2016 Spring Season, 5 teams will compete in the league - defending league champs Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Ra’anana, Modiin, and the Israel Baseball Academy team will play in just their second season in the PL.

"The teams in the league have been steadily improving for years, and we're always looking for ways to make it a better baseball experience for players and fans," says Jordy Alter, Premier League commissioner. For the first time, each team in the PL will have a foreign player with high-school, college, or pro playing experience. The visiting players are part of a new 5-month program called the Israel Baseball Experience and have come to Israel in part to help elevate the overall level of play in the country. 

Opening Day for the spring season is March 10.
