About 60 people - participants of the Baseball for All program and their families - gathered on May 4 at Kibbutz Gezer for a reunion and to hear more about the rest of program.

The players arrived at Gezer in high spirits, ready to play some ball and see each other for the first time since March. The evening began with pizza and the players introduced themselves and their families to each other. The staff of Baseball for All updated the families on how the program will continue and the parents had the opportunity to give their feedback.

Next, everyone moved over to the Gezer baseball field, where players as well as their siblings and parents put on baseball gloves and had a throwing session. Everyone left Gezer looking forward to the next session in June.

The Israel Association of Baseball and its partner Play Global's Baseball for All program began in March this year with a 2-day session at the Baptist Village where 28 grade 6 Jewish and Arab Israeli kids from Modiin and Ramle gathered to learn and play baseball together. The second of three such sessions is due to take place in June, with the same group of players attending.
